Six years ago, Wisecorp was merely a small jewelry factory of ordering business. At that time, the founder of Wisecorp witnessed to having seen Hong Kong jewelry manufacturers gradually shifted to original design manufacturing (ODM) from original equipment manufacturing (OEM). Coupled with poor business environment in jewelry industry and economic downturn, it was under this circumstance that Wisecorp Group (HK) Ltd was founded in 2005. Presently, Wisecorp is a manufacturer and exporter of fine jewelry accented with diamonds in 9K, 10K, 14K, 18K gold and platinum.
Over the past two years, Wisecorp proactively participates in various international jewelry fairs in order to have a strong market position. Through these jewelry events, Wisecorp not only expands its customer base and gains more orders, but also maintains adequate exposure in the market. Its jewelry pieces are innovative and exclusive, which are sold to wholesalers and retailers in the UK and Australia. Each year, the company launches more than 1,000 new designs of jewelry, catering for medium to high-end market.
To ensure the product quality, shape, line and design meeting the required standards, all products are under strict inspection and selection. Wisecorp makes use of the existing resources in terms of sourcing, manufacturing, finance and talent recruitment. At present, its Hong Kong office carries out administration works and marketing tasks while its China plant, located in Panyu, is for production with one-stop service.
Since its establishment for 3 years, Wisecorp has been standing firmly in the jewelry industry. “It is a great challenge to be able to establish its place in this competitive industry.” Mr Ronald Ki, General Manager of Wisecorp expressed, “Apart from superlative quality, competitive prices and on time delivery, jewelry design should always be innovative. Based on the rising prices of diamond and gold as well as other adverse factors, Ronald is cautiously optimistic about the global jewelry industry. Apart from diamond, Wisecorp will also develop colored gemstone jewelry, thus bringing a brand new sensation. At the same time, the form of cooperation with overseas chain stores is under negotiation. Besides, Wisecorp is planning to explore different sectors of the markets such as Europe, the Middle East and Mainland China, thus winning a higher level of renown in the industry.
